Using Photoshop

I have used Photoshop for the first time, I started with a blank background by clickling file then new. The sand dune photo was the photo I put on the background first since the picture was too small I scaled it by clicking edit, transform and scale, since it was a landscape image yet my background was portrait I enlarged the image by holding the shift key and dragging the picture from the corner.

For the Eiffel Tower I used the polygonal lasso tool and clicked around the tower in straight lines, since I needed to delete the background of the selected object I had to inverse the selection so I pressed select, inverse and then delete.

Then to place the tower behind the sand dunes I used the polygonal lasso tool to select the part of the sand dune where it is I copied it and created a new layer, I pasted the sand dune copy on the new layer over the tower.

For the astronaut I also used the polygonal lasso tool but this time I cut small parts of the background out and deleted them, once I had gone around the astronaut I erased the background using the eraser tool, I then placed the astronaut on the image as a new layer.

To edit the bear I put the 'feather' up to 2px, this makes it look more realistic as it keeps the bears fur texture, I edited it the same way as I did the astronaut and placed it on the image as the final layer.
